COVINGTON, Louisiana–The Delta House floating production system has achieved its nameplate oil capacity of 80,000 b/d in Mississippi Canyon block 254 in the Gulf of Mexico, according to operator LLOG Exploration Co.
LLOG recently brought the ninth well on production several weeks ahead of schedule and two additional wells will be brought on production to the FPS in 2016.
The FPS nameplate capacity includes 50% redundancy of key rotating equipment; and the FPS is designed for peaking capacity of 100,000 b/d of oil and 240 MMcf/d (6.8 MMcm/d) of gas with no redundancy of key rotating equipment.
Delta House achieved first production in April 2015.
LLOG President and CEO Scott Gutterman said: “The startup and ramp up of the Delta House FPS has gone exceptionally well. The FPS uptime has averaged in excess of 99% since production was initiated which we believe is best in class for similarly sized facilities.”
LLOG Exploration is partnered with Blackstone Energy Partners, and its co-owners, the entities managed by Ridgewood Energy (which includes Riverstone designated ILX affiliates), Red Willow Offshore, LLC, Calypso Exploration, LLC, Deep Gulf Energy II, LLC, Houston Energy, and American Midstream Partners, LP.
